2024’s Battle for Your Faith!
Satan may be the master of deception, but God is the master of reversal. Satan throughout history has put his best weapons and tactics forward. But time after time God has countered and brought good out of evil. The greatest illustration and evidence of that reversal is the cross of Christ. It seemed to the world that evil had won. Three long days of silence from the heavens seem to confirm that victory.
But Satan miscalculated… the cross was really the set-up for God’s ultimate victory over Satan by raising Jesus from the dead.
Let’s be clear, this is not a sci-fi movie story. This is not a mystery bestseller.
This is real life and real truth.
And what you and I need to do is to live in the light of that ultimate victory.
Because of that victory, Satan’s only means to overcome and defeat you is through deception.
Making you believe that the winner of the war is not yet decided.
May I ask, what is it specifically that you are up against?
What financial, physical, emotional, or relational abyss are you up against? That has got you freaked out… paralyzed, and stuck? Let’s call it out for what it is. It is real. I am not going to tell you your fear of it doesn’t exist because it does. You see it, so it’s real. You feel it, so it’s real. You have a deadline that is so real, it would have you taking drugs if it would help you.
May I ask? What specifically would be different about the way you thought about your dilemma if you thought about it from a heavenly perspective? OK before we answer that… let’s not get religious about this…maybe you caused this…OR maybe this was just a freak occurrence…OR maybe this was beyond your control… Whatever it is… this THING has become the object of your obsession and there is no way out! You can’t take your eyes off this thing you have no answer to…You have no ability to fix it…so you dwell on it…and it becomes your dismal filter of hopelessness and futility and to some degree… destruction.
So May I Ask? What specifically would be different about the way you thought If you changed your filter…changed your perspective…changed what you’re looking at by stepping into the realm of being born again…SEE THIS IN THE SPIRIT… SEE THIS FROM A BIBLICAL PERSPECTIVE?… Seeing this battle as a spiritual fight for your faith in God…not the momentary loss or even devastation of the moment’s emergency.
So May I Ask Once More? What specifically would be different about the way you thought about this newly defined dilemma…AS SPIRITUAL WARFARE and what if …you believed the victory was already decided?
Ephesians 1;3 says “he has blessed us in Christ with every spiritual blessing in the heavens”.
Every spiritual blessing is already located in this unseen realm.
Every promise God ever made and plans to fulfill on your behalf,
Every gift you will ever receive,
Every hope that will ever be satisfied has already been deposited in your account in the physical realm.
Your blessings and victory are already there with your name written on them, waiting for you to grab them, use them, and walk in them.
What obstacles in your life keep you from FAILING TO BELIEVE… to have faith IN GOD!
Satan wants you to believe that if you pray more, give more, serve more, or sinless, maybe God will give you more. But this thinking shifts the focus from God and what he has already done and puts the focus on YOU and what you need in the physical realm. So where does your strength come from? Where does your hope come from?
I think you know that all good things come from the Father. “In Grace” God has made every believer complete in Jesus. Grace, NOT works… is the point of access to God. We enter this point through faith. The job of faith is to discover what the spiritual blessings in the heavenly places already are and to make life choices in that reality. I pray you take a moment to let that settle in. When we do that, we find out we are………………… no longer fighting for victory but fighting from victory.
Reflect on that last statement. What difference would fighting from a stance of victory make in a spiritual battle? We must come to realize those spiritual blessings God has already given to us. And that believing in them will not only help us stand but also help us armor up.
Look, I am not saying God will deliver you from your crisis. (And you might say, then what’s the point!) Prayer may not change your circumstance…but it WILL change you. Changing the filter in how you see this may or may not change your specific situation, but it will change you. HOW? By helping you see that this test will show Faith or No Faith. It will show all those around you where your hope is…where your confession is… AND WHERE YOUR STRENGTH COMES FROM. From Faith in God. Faith in God’s holy word. Faith in the fact that like Ps 23 Although I walk through the valley of the shadow of death…THOU ARE WITH ME… When I was a small lad and I was frightened, I grasped my Daddy’s hand and everything was OK then. No one could hurt me. A peace came over me that settled EVERYTHING!
That was my little-boy faith in Abba Father…my Daddy!
The 2024 Battle For Our Faith.
You and I and all of us are in a battle for our Faith.
The world…and circumstances…and the enemies attacks are all targeting our faith. It is at the heart of every evil, distorted, counterfeit attempt of Satan and the world to dethrone God and our faith in him from our hearts. Reach back for those promises…gather with some friends to walk, pray, and agree with you. Your catastrophe is probably not unto death…but even if it is.
HE IS WITH YOU. HIS WORD CANNOT RETURN VOID. WALK WITH GOD…LET HIS WORD ABIDE IN YOU AND HOW YOU SEE AND THINK…
That is where you find the peace that is beyond human understanding.
Phil 4:5-7 Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. 4:7 And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.
Dear Lord, please help us to see the victory that God has already won through Christ Jesus our Lord.
