Why Angels when we have the Holy Spirit?

I have a couple of small ponds in my backyard, and I found an angel to place in
the center of that pond facing my home.
A dear friend of mine asked me have you become Catholic again?
I said angels are not just for Catholics. they’re for everyone. And I purposed that I would do some research and address that question biblically.

Psalm 91:11–12. “For he will order his angels to protect you wherever you go. They will hold you up with their hands so you won’t even hurt your foot on the stones”.
So, if angels are sent to protect us, why do we need the holy spirit?

Do we pray to Angels or worship them?
Why were they created? What do they do?
Do they have a will?
Are they Omnipresent?

My wife says I asked too many questions.

But interestingly, Angels are mentioned 273 times in the Bible. They are without a doubt, fascinating creatures that were created by God in Genesis 2:1 even before Adam and Eve.
Job 38:1–7 says “Where were you when I laid earth’s foundation? – 7 When the morning stars sang together, and all the sons of God shouted for joy? (Angels)

Matthew 22–30 says that Angels will not marry. “For in the resurrection they neither marry, nor are given in marriage, but are as the angels of God in heaven”.
Angels are wise and intelligent. The angel said to Daniel, “I have come to give you insight and understanding” Daniel 9:22
Angels are not meant to be worshiped. Revelation 19:10, “and I fell at his feet (angel) to worship him. And he said to me, see you that you do not do that! I am your fellow servant, and of your brother, and who have the testimony of Jesus. Worships God! for the testimony of Jesus, is the spirit of prophecy”.
Angels are subject to Christ: Peter 3:22, “who is gone into heaven, (Jesus) and is at the right hand of God, angels, and authorities, and powers, having been made subject to him”.

Angels have a will: Isaiah 14:12–14 speaks of Satan the fallen.
“How you have fallen from heaven,
morning star, son of the dawn!
You have been cast down to the earth,
you who once laid low the nations!
13 You said in your heart,
“I will ascend to the heavens;
I will raise my throne
above the stars of God;
I will sit enthroned on the mount of assembly,
on the utmost heights of Mount Zaphon.[a]
14 I will ascend above the tops of the clouds;
I will make myself like the Most High.”

Most angels remained faithful to God. 1/3 of the angels rebelled against God, and the rest remain faithful. Revelation 5:11–12.

Jude 1:6. Angels have certain limitations: They are not all-knowing, all-powerful, and everywhere present. Daniel 10:12–13. The Angel said, “Do not be afraid, Daniel. Since the first day that you set your mind to gain understanding and to humble yourself before your God, your words were heard, and I have come in response to them. 13 But the prince of the Persian kingdom resisted me twenty-one days. (Evil fallen angels/spirits) Then Michael, one of the chief princes, came to help me because I was detained there with the king of Persia”.
Jude 1:9 “But even the archangel Michael, when he was disputing with the devil about the body of Moses, did not himself dare to condemn him for slander but said, “The Lord rebuke you!”

What’s the difference between the Holy Spirit and the angels?
Angels are created by God. The Holy Spirit is God. He is the third member of the Holy Trinity. Angels work for God. They are messengers of God. They have been warriors for God. They are indeed spectacular to behold and have frequently struck terror in those who have seen them. But they are not to be worshiped like the Holy Spirit, who is God. The angels have been given assignments to care for and watch over us by the instruction of God himself. The Holy Spirit abides in us, lives in us, and has a presence in us to guide us in our everyday lives and in our everyday decisions. Having the Holy Spirit shows that we have been reconciled with God. The Holy Spirit empowers us and provides us with spiritual gifts that are used to help the church
and let the world know that God loves them.
And Angel may bring an important message,
but that is only upon the directive of God himself.
