Sunday’s Prophecy - I Will Use It All for Your Good!

“For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand that we should walk in them.” Ephesians 2:10.

What does that mean to you?  How does his preparation interact with our daily living?

Sundays Prophecy

“I will use it all.  You may not see it now.  But nothing will be wasted; everything will be used to bring about my ultimate purpose for my glory and your good.  Have faith and trust my sovereignty.

Have faith in what I said. Repeat it until you are one with my promise. Keep knocking…  Stand when all else has been done. Regardless of what more you might have done. Stand!  Let the wind rage.  Stand in the face of your discouragement…In the face of all your whys.
I am working it out. I am growing you in it all.

I do have things for you to learn…you are my light.  However, dim you may think you are.  You are growing. My light in you is finding more fertile ground, and nothing I send out can return without accomplishing my purpose. My perfect will, and that includes you.
As hard as it is. Praise me in your circumstances.  Push through the whys. Praise through what you can’t know. Believe I am walking with you even in the darkness. I am the way, the truth, and the light”.

Our current dilemma and God’s purpose is often not what we think.  But we can be assured of one thing…obedience will lead us to His light and to freedom.

I know as a parent, I should have left some of my children to fail so they could discover their mistakes…the pain of defeat…obedience…what it means to get back up and not give up.  But too often, I saved them from themselves.  Not out of my wisdom but out of wanting to protect them… often foolishly.

Father God does not work like that.  He loves us, but He has a plan for our lives…to mold us into a holy vessel of his choosing, and he will cut off those pieces he sees as unnecessary or fruitless.  He will prune our tree to help us grow closer to him.

Proverbs 29:18 says, “Where there is no vision, the people perish” (KJV). God will reveal His purpose for us through the burdens He places on our hearts.  Through the tests, he places before us to mold us and make us.  Sometimes that comes in hurt and pain, but his word says for everything, there IS a purpose.   But we have often cried out… But, they are innocent… What good could possibly come from this?….  And you call this a good god?

When was the last time you read Ecclesiastes 3? “To everything, there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven: a time to be born, and a time to die; a time to plant, and a time to pluck up that which is planted; a time to kill, and a time to heal; a time to break down, and a time to build up; a time to weep, and a time to laugh; a time to mourn, a time to dance:”  Look further in verse 10 “ 10 I have seen the travail, which God hath given to the sons of men to be exercised in it. 11 He hath made everything beautiful in his time: also he hath set the world in their heart so that no man can find out the work that God maketh from the beginning to the end.”
22 Wherefore I perceive that there is nothing better, than that a man should rejoice in his own works; for that is his portion: for who shall bring him to see what shall be after him?

He said in the prophecy that “nothing will be wasted. I am growing you in it all.”

Ecclesiastes 3’s themes of time, seasonality, and the eternal longing He has set within us that will point us to the only place you will find freedom and peace…that is in Jesus Christ, in His teachings, and through his life, death, and resurrection.  That is the only place we will find meaning AND the desire for eternal life.  That will only be found in being obedient to Jesus and growing in the love he put inside you.

We rationalized our awkward or unjust circumstances, those totally unfair sets of random events, as justifications that God isn’t there or he doesn’t care, and so we continue to search for and and attempt to build meaning and purpose in a life apart from God.  Solomon told us here to stop wasting our lives and energy and emotion on things that ultimately have no lasting meaning or significance.

He closed his prophecy yesterday with a clear message of eternal truth.

“I am working it out.

We are each in a season that has changed our lives somehow.  Your circumstances will change in each of them, but they will, in His time, come to add fullness to our existence.  We must trust his sovereign will and that His love will make it all count for eternity.  The other way only leads away from Him.
