This Is More Than Another Season… Your Breakthrough Is Now
When the pressure increases, your praise must rise with it. Worship isn’t how we celebrate victory …
it’s often how we win it.
Saturday night, I had 10 Courageous Leaders and their wives at my home for an intimate Christmas gathering. I started off by having everyone share what they were thankful for this season.
It turned into so much more.
Many of them shared their history and partial testimonies
of their trials and how God got them through.
One of the leaders sent me a text afterward and said; “Hearing the stories of what God has done in the lives of other mature leaders and how many of us are experiencing
similar circumstances is very impactful”.
We too often think that we are all alone in our battle when we are not. Even among these leaders, I heard about the trials they were in or had just come out of, showcasing God’s faithfulness.
Sometimes I feel bad…feeling good, about not being alone.
Here is a prophetic word God gave me Sunday morning.
“You’re waiting for a breakthrough. I know. As hard as it has been. I have heard you. But you are blessed. Your day is coming, Praise my name. This is more than a season. Time is growing near to my coming. You have been faithful. I have seen every sacrifice, every tear, every song of praise, even in your darkest moments, and hardest times. Your breakthrough is now. You’re in that season. So double down on your worship. Double down on the peace that comes via the faith I have given you. Grab hold of my promises, give yourself away. I am not late. You are a part of my purpose. Rejoice, rejoice! It’s not just Christmas for them”.
I’ve been thinking a lot about the prophecy the Lord whispered on Sunday. Let me break down what I heard.
“You’re waiting for a breakthrough. I know.”
There is something powerful in simply knowing God sees.
Some of us have been praying the same prayer for months…
some for years… and if we’re honest, sometimes we wonder,
“Lord… did that prayer get lost somewhere on the way?”
But the Word says in Psalm 56:8,
“You have kept count of my tossings; put my tears in Your bottle.”
Nothing prayed in faith evaporates.
No sacrifice goes unnoticed.
No lonely night is wasted.
And then He said:
“As hard as it has been—I have heard you. But you are blessed. Your day is coming.”
That reminds me of Daniel 10…Daniel fasted and prayed for 21 days before the angel arrived and said:
“From the first day you set your heart to understand, your words were heard.”
Not the 21st day …the first day.
See… Earth had silence, but Heaven was already moving.
And then this prophetic word said:
“This is more than a season.”
“Time is growing near to my coming.”
That puts everything into perspective.
We’re not just waiting for a change in circumstance,
we’re living in the fulfillment of God’s eternal plan.
Jesus said: “When you see these things begin to happen, lift up your heads, because your redemption draws near.” Luke 21:28
If the world gets darker…
it doesn’t mean God is absent…
it means the light is about to shine brighter.
Then came this line that hit me:
“I have seen every sacrifice, every tear, every song of praise, even in your darkest moments.”
Sometimes your most powerful worship wasn’t the loudest…
it was the whisper through tears.
It was the “I trust You” and your heart was breaking.
It was the “You are good” when nothing felt good.
Beloved — God measures worship by faith… not volume.
The woman with the alabaster jar broke open her costliest possession.
Jesus didn’t just see the oil…He saw the sacrifice.
Then this:
“Your breakthrough is now… double down on your worship.”
Not after the breakthrough.
Not once everything feels better.
Not once you see clarity, the answer, or the open door.
Worship IS the door.
Praise IS the weapon.
Joy IS the strength.
“The joy of the Lord is your strength.” — Nehemiah 8:10 Are you listening?
And then — my favorite part:
“I am not late. You are a part of My purpose.”
We’ve told God,
“Lord — this is taking too long.”
But maybe…just maybe,
God could reply,
“Child, if it came earlier, you wouldn’t have been ready.”
Or…you just couldn’t know how it fits into much bigger plans.
Breakthrough isn’t just something God does for me ,,,
it’s something God does in me.
He changes the heart before He changes the situation.
“He makes all things beautiful in its time.” Ecclesiastes 3:11
Finally… the prophetic word says:
“Rejoice, rejoice — it’s not just Christmas for them.”
Please listen carefully and take this in.
Your blessing won’t miss your house.
Your breakthrough doesn’t have someone else’s name on it.
This isn’t a season of watching others receive,
this is a season of expectation for you.
Your breakthrough is not a rumor.
It’s not a someday.
It’s not a vague hope.
In God’s timing
“now” doesn’t mean rushed
it means ready.
Maybe the prayer hasn’t been answered yet in the natural for you.
Maybe the breakthrough has already happened in the unseen.
So, worship like the door already swung open.
Rejoice like the answer is already in the mail.
Stand… like the victory has already been written … because it has.
“Faith is the evidence of things not seen.” — Hebrews 11:1
This is more than a season.
This is God’s timing.
This is God’s breakthrough.
And the Father says…“Rejoice.”
Far beyond what it looks like!
