Why are you stuck?  The Power of Meditating on His Word.

How often do we read a scripture and in a sentence or two …we drift…we think…I know this scripture,
and you kind of skim over it.
You’re not really letting the words settle in.

We don’t let His words anchor us.
Not letting the Holy Spirit do his work in you… for you…for others.

We are in a hurry.
To get where?
For Whom?

I know it’s happened to everyone, but what a story it tells.

What does it say about your heart?
Yes, you are one step ahead of those not reading the bible at all, but your heart is not there.
Where’s the wonder?

There is no worship for who He is.
There is no reverence for his holy word or the insight that always comes if we would but, Selah,
Stop and meditate on him for a minute or two even if it’s not the verse in Joshua: 1:8
“Keep this Book of the Law(A) always on your lips;(B) meditate(C) on it day and night, so that you may be careful to do everything written in it. Then you will be prosperous and successful”.

How powerful is that promise?  How convicting is it when you look in the mirror?
Not much…because we don’t pause long enough for it to have its impact!

Prosperous?  But not just prosperous in the world’s eyes—prosperous in the eyes of God.
It’s not about getting rich or collecting stuff.
It’s about becoming rich in wisdom.
Saturated in understanding.
Careful in our steps.
Guided in our dreams.
Clear in our calling.

There’s a difference between head knowledge and heart knowledge.
Between being wet and being saturated.
Don’t just breeze past that image—soak it in.

Head knowledge may impress people.
Heart knowledge moves mountains.

Scripture is not a checkbox; it’s a launch pad—for great lives, great purposes, and great intentions.
Meditating on His Word day and night is how we draw the power out of His promises
and into our actual lives.
It’s a lifeline when you are in rushing waters and when the ground beneath you feels like it’s giving way. And His word becomes the rock on which you stand!

This is why many believers never fully walk in what God has promised—they believe, yes—but they don’t marinate.
They don’t meditate.
They don’t saturate.

Are you listening today?

This isn’t just a message for new believers or weak-kneed saints.
It’s for all of us.

Ask yourself:
How would I rate my walk with God?
How deep is the water I’m swimming in spiritually?
How deep is my love?
How deep are my thoughts?

Are your thoughts a blessing—or a battleground?
Have you read the Bible more than once?
Did it ever fail to show you something new?

Not once.
Not ever.

Why?
Because as you grow, the Holy Spirit reveals more.
Your eyes open wider. He removes the scales.
Your soul is ready for what it once couldn’t handle.
Like a good Father, He gives what you need when you need it—not a moment before, not a moment late.

Sometimes the lesson came through a failure, didn’t it?
That’s His wisdom, too.
The very thing you thought disqualified you might have been the moment He taught you the most.

So if you feel stuck—stop skimming.
Slow down.
Selah.
Be still.
Take the verse you’ve read a thousand times and let it read you.

, not just wets you, because when the Word of God saturates you—not just wets you—
You don’t walk away the same.

That’s the power of meditating on His Word.

And that’s the path to a truly prosperous life.

Lord I am believing that June is the month of my restoration  In  _______________ and _____________ (please name them.) June will be a month of taking back what Satan has stolen, it will be a month of restoration of what the canker worm has eaten and taken away.  Financially, relationally,  we declare June is our month  of restoration of the glory of the lord in our lives, which was scattered.

What we lost will come back in his blessings, and his beauty, and what he has said concerning us.  We pull down every stronghold that has stunted the path of God’s blessings.  Lord, forgive me for being so lukewarm in my battles with the enemy.  Forgive me for not taking Sunday’s high ground before now.  But Lord, today is the day we have drawn a line in the spirit.  No More Satan!  Take your hands off of my life,  In ___________ and __________  I take back the authority you have stolen from me, and I proclaim the victory of Sunday.  Of your promises to bless me, my family, and my health and finances.  When you are with me, Lord, NO ONE can stand against me.

So, Lord, receive the prayers and prophetic words of your scripture that June is our month of taking back the high ground in these areas.  June will be our Sunday of believing your blessings are for us, and your protection is upon us to restore what was stolen.  In Jesus’ Name.
