Why is their silence among my children?
Is the Joy of the Lord, your strength…Today?
I sat down this morning for my quiet time. I re-read the prophetic word the Lord gave me on Sunday and He just kept talking to me. Maybe, you will hear what I heard today; Drop me a note and let me know.
Sundays  Prophecy
“Why is their silence among my children? What sacrifice is there in praising during the blessing? How can that be? Bless the lord at all times. In season and out of season. When will my children call those things that are not as though they are. And then praise me in full expectation of that faithful word? Let everything that has breath praise the Lord. Isn’t praise the evidence of my faithfulness? Where is your thankfulness in the midst of the storm? I am still God even in your darkness. I am forever with you. I will never leave or forsake you. Oh ye of little faith. Should i let the rocks cry out in your absence? Lift up your voices and your heart, stay focused on my son Jesus, look not to the left or right as Peter did as he began to sink into the darkness.Â
Praise me. Praise the Lord of Hosts, let the words of your mouth and the meditation of your heart be proclaimed as you present yourself before me.
Praise me in remembrance of all I have done… stand strong in praise as it is the period behind your prayers. Let the joy of Jesus be your strength today and forever in every situation  Proclaim your freedom. Proclaim the worthiness of the lamb. It is finished”.
As I reread this again today, I see so many pieces of scripture bringing the truth home to us today. He is quoting scripture in his admonition to each of us today. How easy is it to drift in our good service to our Lord and but still lose our focus of Praise and Thanksgiving. Lose the reality of the power that it is in our lives in both light and times of darkness.
How do we stay grounded in Christ through those times or seasons in the desert? Times when you feel stale, dry and without that fire that fuels your emotions and drives us to press into the deeper presence of God. Will there ever be a time that there won’t be an opportunity for a deeper and more intimate relationhship with Jesus? May it never be.Â
We know that we look through a glass dimly. We know that there are untold mysteries that are beyond us, and it will forever be so. It is not about the million things we don’t and can’t understand…it is about the countless promises and treasures He has given to us that we have not taken in yet. Promises that are our light for our day…Today!  He tells us to live one day at a time. That is your Grace. One Day!
He tells us to live in the Present. That’s where He is.Â
Not looking into the past, typically at our own history and failures or to the future either.Â
He says that you have purpose for today. Provision for today. Hope for today.Â
An opportunity to thank God for the air that you breathe…right now. For the love of family and friends. For the outpouring of His spirit that abides in you today and forever. We  should be ashamed having SO much to be thankful for. Yet repentance is such a distant word. We have, So much, we should be overflowing in gratitude for. Yet we need to be reminded by God himself. He says, Let everything that has breath praise the Lord. Let the praise of your mouth be your battle cry of FREEDOM!
For TODAY!. For right now. There is no other time. Â
Praise Him in the morning and the night. Show yourself willing to place him above every priority in your day today. Every thought that comes to intrude and distract. Give him the first fruits of yourself…of your thinking, before your day begins. Put on the garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness. Â
Are you listening? YOU must put it on. Just like you Put On the Armor of God and all the defenses…all of the protection He has provided you. Why? So you can STAND against the schemes the enemy will bring your way TODAY. How quickly we lose focus that our battle is not against flesh and blood…but against the spiritual forces of evil that lull us off into the comfort of our days. They lull us into complacency so that we STOP in our vigilance to be aware that like the terminator...Never stops coming. Â
He never stops.Â
Peter lost his focus although it was already granted to walk on water. He was already walking…already defying science and what is humanely possible…AND he has Jesus right in front of him with outstretched arms saying
“Come, all you who are heavy ladened…Come. (Can you not invision Him?)
Yet Peter was distracted by the howling winds and stinging rain and got caught up in the noise and began to sink. Just like you and me.Â
Every day is a new battle, because Satan never Stops. So, we must NEVER STOP. Proclaiming His victory.Â
So Today… Praise Him for the Helmet of salvation. Praise Him for the Breastplate of Righteousness and having the belt of truth, secure around your waist… and your feet shod in the readiness that comes from the Gospel of Peace!Â
Today...for as long as it’s called today. Raise up the Shield of Faith to extinguish ALL the firery darts, temptations, thoughts, images, fears, apprehensions and take our Only offensive weapon… the Sword of the Spirit and lay it at the very root of his lies and deceptions and say I WILL STAND!Â
I am MORE than a Champion in Christ Jesus my Lord. And then What?Â
Praise him before you step out the door…revel in the Glory that is His…
let that smile on your face be your introduction to the world today.Â
And beyond all of nature rising up to proclaim His Glory…You will lead the concert of praise…
The assembly of those who see the truth…
That nothing formed against you today…can prosper. I praise In Jesus Name!Â
