Wake Up To The Real Fight!
Is it possible that right now our ultimate reality isn’t happening in the physical world as we see it? Could it be that right now there is a spiritual battle waring all around us, in the unseen realms and that battle has physical effects in this world? If that’s true, then most of us walk around in this world with no idea of what’s happening in the spiritual one.
Do you remember the movie “The Matrix”? The film depicts a dystopian world in which reality is a computer simulation, the Matrix, created by machines to control the human population and pushes the audience to question the nature of reality? There is another reality, unseen, supernatural, controlling the world. Isn’t it amazing that movies take a semblance of the bible, the prophesied Christ, and create a distorted version of Christ’s redemption and make it a sci-fi classic? We enjoy these epic stories on the screen of the supernatural but somehow don’t see it as realistic in our lives or the world.
Unless we realize that truth and wake up to the battle, we will continue to look for physical solutions to solve spiritual problems manifesting themselves in our physical lives.
Isn’t it time we “Wake up to the real fight”
Here is the truth. We are engaged in a war. In fact, this war is like no other. Its implications reach further and its casualties devastate more than any conflict in the history of humankind. But like the Matrix, most people walk around completely unaware. Or if they are aware, they do not take it seriously.
Spiritual warfare can be defined as the cosmic conflict waged in the invisible, spiritual realm that is simultaneously fleshed out in the context of the visible, physical realm. Meaning you cannot see the root of the war, but you can feel its effects.
What about you? On a scale of 1 to 10 How aware are you? Be honest. ____
Secondly, do you consistently live your day to day with that same level of spiritual awareness?
Do you believe, there is a spiritual root behind every physical disturbance, setback, ailment or issue we face. Do you really? Have you ever felt directly engaged in the invisible realm?
The scripture today is one of my favorites Eph 6: 10-12
Read it repeatedly and see who we are battling
and what he tells us our defense is.
“ Finally, be strong in the Lord and in his mighty power. 11 Put on the full armor of God so that you can take your stand against the devil’s schemes. 12 For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms”.
Lord help me see, really see what is happening spiritually. Give me a spirit of discernment to recognize what is happening in my life, my families, and the world around me. Lord your promise is I can do ALL things through Christ who strengthens me. Lord without you I am nothing.
