"Have you ever felt neglected, unneeded, bypassed, or set aside? When you do not embrace my Holy Spirit as your main source of life, then you have done that to me. It’s as if the nails are driven again. If you will not embrace the power — the healing — the wisdom and strength you need for the day then you have demonstrated that the rebirth that I died for — for you – is worthless to you.
Turn around my children and see me – feel me – know me — hear me – obey me and I will open your world to another realm. One of spirit and power and peace.
Repent for stepping out alone. It’s not about you. It’s about me. All good things flow from your father… Nothing else — No one else!
Jesus alone is King of Kings and my gift is the Holy Spirit to live and be your being and reason to breathe. This is a call to some and a warning to others. Without me, you will surely be undone, disappointed, and left wanting and empty.
I love you, oh how I love you. Let me fill you, inspire you, empower you to do my will and live a life of divine purpose."
As I drove to church this morning I was asking him what encouragement he had for today… I could feel my spirit speaking to me about what he wanted to say even before I arrived. Many people think that when we repent the nails are removed, but the nail holes remain. Heather Obrien stated that "no holes remain because after repenting we have an entirely new board". I found this analogy even more beautiful after realizing that the only holes that do remain are the ones in Christ’s hands and feet. His sacrifice was complete.
How long can we ignore God’s calling? How many times must we leave for our day without putting Christ on…without putting the light of the world around us as we walk. How many times, even as Christians can we ignore and neglect the God of the universe? How many bits of encouragement or warnings are we entitled to? Perhaps that is the word…we somehow feel entitled.
Jesus said he will remember no more after we repent. But we do remember! But if it helps us to turn around and remember how much we have hurt and betrayed him as we humble ourselves…then I think it’s a good thing to remember every day. God is not some convenient thing we can take or leave like he was a tie on a casual day. He has prepared a place for you. He has called you by name so it may be written in His book. He has a plan to use your life to magnify his great love for humanity.
Re-read his prophesy and repent and then claim his holy promises.
Would you pray for one hour this week with your family and us to press into His Holy of Holies and feel God?
