Sundays Prophesy – Don’t Miss What God is Doing!
“Stay focused, no matter what comes, small or large. Stay focused on me, my truths, my principles. Do not give the enemy traction in your distraction. His goal is to distract, divide and neutralize my message in the walk that is your testimony. I need you to engage and move forward. Move off dead center
and pursue the prize. Let me hear your worship by your walk and talk, even In the storm.
I am changing some of your directions. Visions are ever-growing and changing, do not be left behind holding to the past as good as it was. I am enlarging tents, focuses, and visions. In that uncertainness of change be warned it is not an attack. It is a guiding light of change. Prepare now that you will be ready. Let me be your focus, not the comfort in the way things have been. Stay sensitive to me.
I am one of the first to deem a setback as an attack. I didn’t receive that this was specifically for me. Quite the contrary. How easy is it for us to give the enemy traction in our distraction? How easy it is to put our heads down and burrow through the neverending list of to-dos? He said to engage, get involved, get moving. Get off dead center!
I hear that many of us reading have a window of opportunity here. Visions are growing…He is enlarging tents, focuses, and visions. I am hearing the Jabez prayer. Can you grab ahold of that or is this just another morning devotional? Don’t hang to the comforts of yesterday and yesteryear. Stop limiting yourself, because he has something more for you…and me. But we must stay focused and keep this prophecy in mind. It WILL look like an attack.
I lost a large commission I expected this afternoon. Everything was going great and for a petty superfluous item, the deal was dropped. How do you prepare for a storm? In a setback? In a disappointment? With too many Christians enslaved by the spirit of fear and weariness, we look to the prize.
Pursue the Prize!
What does that mean to you? When we realize who he is, what he has for us…called by name…how could we not praise the prize? How could we not overflow with the joy of God into every area of our lives because we know what’s really important? We know the eternal ending, which means if we can’t live that joy now, then I have to question the depth of our faith. When our joy is small, our faith is smaller. When our satisfaction and joy is full, then we shout it from the rooftops. I’m getting married. I have a baby boy! The Prize we have is for a 1000 generations. It is the prize in the midst of every storm. He is telling you and me to prepare and be ready. Not like the 10 virgins waiting on the bridegroom and 5 fell asleep and didn’t make the wedding. He said prepare! Stop hanging to the comfort of yesterday. He wants to do a new thing.
If he is changing things to enlarge our capacities and told us to look for them and to not be distracted by what it might look like… then we could be like those 5 virgins who had kept enough oil in their lamps and were invited into the feast. He warns, do not get lost in your past comforts, don’t get distracted…
Why? He wants to enlarge your territory.
I don’t know what that means for you. But for me, I am praying, reading his word, searching behind every challenge for the insight of the Holy Spirit. I will not be caught napping. I want his promise but even more, I want the Prize. JESUS!
