Jesus Fell on His Face

We are standing at a prophetic crossroads moment in history. That may sound like an over-dramatization but some decisions are much bigger and consequential than others.
God did not call us together for us just to watch what is going on!

I find myself at times looking for words to be neutral or politically correct. (Which I am horrible at) And it was like I heard him say;
I didn’t call you to be neutral.

Jesus's 3 yrs. here radically stood in the face of the crowd, the current culture and popular opinion. Although his stand was radical his ways were kind and, peaceful but everything he did, every day he taught another principle, he walked in prayer, he talked from prayer and he told us that our communion in the prayers of faith was what would move God.
As one man, walking in the Spirit He changed the world!

He means for us to be actively involved in the fight for religious freedom and the life of the unborn. (As unpopular as those topics have become today). Violent. Even though many oppose it, they are quiet about it. Is that why we remain the silent majority or is it FEAR? There is no debate here:
Fear is NOT of God.

Matt 26; 39 “and he went a little further and fell on his face and prayed”
Charles Spurgeon said; “it was a lonely prayer. He even separated from his three favored disciples. Telling us that in time of trial and when we battle a larger storm or decision, to find a place beyond the corporate worship or even a prayer meeting but for solitary prayer. “He fell on His face”. That is a humble prayer. He said, humility gives us a good foothold in prayer. It was filial prayer. "Abba Father” you will find it a stronghold in the day of trial to plead your adoption. You have no rights as a servant, you have forfeited them by your treason;
But NOTHING can forfeit a child’s right to a father’s protection.
Be not afraid, to say, “My father hear my cry".

Observe next it was a persevering prayer, he prayed three times. Cease not until you prevail. Lastly it was a prayer of resignation.

"Nevertheless, not my will but thine be done”
“Let it be as God wills and God will determine for the best.”

Again, today, and tomorrow I am praying you pick up the banner of prayer. The covering of prayer. And the sword of the spirit, our only offensive weapon and pray for this election.

Pray today but this coming week should be a National Week of Prayer.
Pray for repentance, restoration, and revival. Spiritual warfare is not a “Now I lay me down to sleep” type of prayer. It is in authority! It comes with a battle cry and a resolve of how dare you take the name of the Lord in vain! It is a declaration that there is no surrender here!

2 Cor 10: 3-5 We pull down every stronghold! “For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal but mighty in God for pulling down strongholds, 5casting down arguments and every high thing that exalts itself. This is a stance and a pray of power. EVERY STRONGHOLD! Pray God hears the cries of his children, 3 times, but nevertheless, not my will but thine be done. Interestingly I woke up this morning pray.

Perhaps in the midst of this great trial/election, we will also discovery another level in our own faith and a realization of the Holy Spirits power working through us as individuals and as a nation. So, we too might continue to seek the daily direction of the Holy Spirit and have the confidence that we will hear it and do it.
