Pastor Daryl Black gave an inciteful depiction of the Spirit world this weekend.  

May I give you my take on his notes?

I made a Father Son project when my oldest son turned 16 to get certified in Scuba diving.  Wow, what a world we unmasked.  What dangers we navigated and survived.  It is the world beneath us that too often goes unseen and unrealized regarding its impact and importance in our Lives.Did you know: the plant components of the plankton community produce 50 percent of oxygen on Earth?  Or that the ocean is approximately 72 percent of the earth's surface.  And that fish exceeds 50 percent in many lessor-developed countries for food?

Like the ocean's power and presence below us, there is aSpirit Realm beyond our senses all around us.  There are "Realms beyond our senses", even as we look out on the horizon.  Pastor Altman said, “To be unaware is to be unprepared”.  Isn’t that true in any area of our lives?  How many times have we been caught unaware, surprised, or just unprepared for what confronts us?

If you are not aware of the power of the sea you will be caught in a force and a realm far beyond your ability to offset it or even save yourself.  You know that, and most of us have a healthy respect for it. But that is not true of the Realm of the Spirit.   Whether you believe it or not, demons are at play and it isn’t a friendly game of tag.  It is to the death of your soul and perhaps to the ones nearest to you under your care and influence.   Have you ever said,“This is not natural?”  You bet, but we do not so quickly run from it or see it as a burning flag of warning like Ephesians 6:12 KJV: "For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world”.The Lord gave me a word on Sunday about this.  

“Oh Yes, I AM doing a new thing – Cant you see it –  Can’t you hear me calling you?  Your breakthrough is on the horizon.  Kneel for it… Believe for it… Speak my word to it.    Yes, it is a war, but I will sustain you. I will hold you up with my righteous right hand.  Humble yourself.  Humble yourself so you can lean on me.  So you can believe the impact of the armor I have provided for you.You are In the thick of it.  But I am there with you and it is I who will deliver you and set your light on the hill for even the cities to see.Remember the victories of those who have gone before you!” 

Satan doesn’t bother with the unsaved or the lukewarm.  They are of no danger to him and his universal plan.  But you may be a Christian, IF you know where your hope comes from and know how to battle in the Spirit and not in the flesh.  The devil attacks God’s true children because you’re a threat!  But we must pay attention to what is behind the great curtain of OZ.  His word, says that "there is a new thing arising"…A righteous indignation is being awakened and with it will come your breakthrough. Eph 4 – 5 -6.  He said,

Kneel for it!…. Believe for it… SPEAK my word to it!  

Have you really?  Are you ready to turn the corner and fight?  He is saying that we must act like a child of the King!  Walk like an heir to the throne… To be strong in His strength and prepare yourself with the armor he has provided for you to win.    He says to humble ourselves!  Twice… Why?  So we will lean on him and not our own understanding.  Not on what we see but beyond the Realm of our natural senses into the Spiritual World he called us to.  With weapons that are not carnal but for the pulling down of strongholds!Ephesians 6:10-13  “Finally, be strong in the Lord and in the strength of HIS might. 11 Put on the WHOLE armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the schemes of the devil. 12 For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the cosmic powers over this present darkness, against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly places. 13 Therefore take up the whole armor of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand firm. I  know you know this scripture but after a while, we cease to see it really.  We cease to take it in so that it becomes part of our daily clothing to enter the world with.  All of us have grown cold or lukewarm at different times in our lives.  Where are you today?  Are you a soldier in the army of Christ?  That doesn’t just mean we are born again on some Sunday morning or sawdust trail.  It asks whether you are disciplined solder in the army prepared, willing, and in shape to do battle.  There were 5 Virgins who kept their oil lamps full for the soon coming of the King, but the OTHER virgins who didn’t prepare… and had to go off to buy another supply, missed his appearance.  Matt 25:9  Are you convicted? Humbled?  Motivated to kneel?   I am.  Satan isn’t just attacking us here and there.  He is actually scheming.  Meaning he is laying out a plan…he is strategically sending his hordes of demons to distract you, aggravate you, and even get you angry at God for what’s happening.  Scheming to keep track of your weaknesses and those of your family and use them to cripple you spiritually. 

My nearly 98-year-old mom asked me 2 weeks ago over the phone, with double pneumonia…rather sternly… why haven’t your been praying for Jesus to take away that scar tissue that you got when you got Covid pneumonia 2 yrs ago.  I defensively said, I have but after reflection, I have not for over a year.  I prayed for others, for the church, but not so much for me.  How many areas have you ceased to pray for?…Let me rephrase:  How many areas have you ceased to battle for?  To pick up the sword of the Spirit and say, No More!   In the Authority of the Name of Jesus, I am taking it to you Satan, and away from you.  You WILL cease and desist by order of the blood and name of Jesus Christ.

The Prophecy said:  “Humble yourself so you can lean on me.  So, you can believe the impact of the armor I have provided for you”.  Until we really believe in something we cannot own it, let alone walk in it.  He said: “Remember the victories of those who have gone before you!”   If we can’t remember his victories…When we cannot recall who He is and what He has done for us and others,.. how can you possibly rely on him…trust him…to be there with us in the Battle!  I pray today you look at the Spiritual Realm beyond your senses and put on the armor he has provided to give you your next victory!
