An Intimate word of encouragement. Sundays Prophecy
"Love is the answer. It isn’t just a word – it’s a mystery and a revelation of my Holy Spirit. Love is the answer to your dilemmas. Love will light the way to break and dissolve the powers of darkness if you love me more. My light brings eternal. It is THE answer to anger, fear, sin, unforgiveness. Love will light your way to break the powers of darkness. Love will lead you beside the river of sadness and trials. It will sustain you and be your words when attacks come. Love will heal the wounds of your family and neighbors. Love will tame the evil tongue. Do not resist me. Do not resist my fountain of living and loving life even in the seasons in the desert. A humble man can know it all, bowed down and obedient to my words. I will protect him – I will save his soul. I will pour out my fountain of living water for all of his family. Tap into the deeper waters. Don’t be satisfied to sit on the shore and be content with the sprinkles of the church. I am not religion.
I am love… and I love you".
1 John 4:8 tells us that the one who does not love does not know God because God is love. Song of Solomon 8:7: Many waters cannot quench love; rivers cannot wash it away". Jesus himself said, “Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind. This is the first and greatest commandment. And the second is like it: 'Love your neighbor as yourself. ' ” (Matthew 22:37-39, ESV).
Lastly a scripture we know and have heard so well, but we do not know it. We have not medicated on it. We have not lived and breathed it until it became the very breath we breathe.
1 Corinthians 13:4-8
Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. 5 It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. 6 Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. 7 It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres.
8 Love never fails. But where there are prophecies, they will cease; where there are tongues, they will be stilled; where there is knowledge, it will pass away.
God’s love is the answer to every question. To every problem. To every union and marriage. Love is not about us… it's about someone else and that begins with God himself. Love God from whom all love flows. Love God and get lost in the love only He can give. Love God and begin to see what God wants for you as a sojourner on your way to the promised land.
