Non-Negotiable Principles

Principles – a matter/thin of primary importance.
Negotiable- Bargain for Advantage.

Do you have absolute trust and faith in God, your marriage, your family, your beliefs? What is not for sale? What exactly is negotiable to you?

Psalm 119:105-112
105 Your word is a lamp for my feet,
a light on my path.
106 I have taken an oath and confirmed it,
that I will follow your righteous laws.
107 I have suffered much;
preserve my life, LORD, according to your word.
108 Accept, LORD, the willing praise of my mouth,
and teach me your laws.
109 Though I constantly take my life in my hands,
I will not forget your law.
110 The wicked have set a snare for me,
but I have not strayed from your precepts.
111 Your statutes are my heritage forever;
they are the joy of my heart.
112 My heart is set on keeping your decrees
to the very end.[a]

Are these Non-Negotiable Principles for you? Really?

1. I WILL ALWAYS FOLLOW JESUS.
Matt 16:26 26 What good will it be for someone to gain the whole world, yet forfeit their soul? Or what can anyone give in exchange for their soul?”

Work? Money? Sex? Flattery? Prestige?
What Christian/Godly principle will you negotiate?
Who is your role model?
I will have Godly goals for my life and family.

2. I WILL ALWAYS PROTECT AND LEAD MY FAMILY IN GODLY PRINCIPLES
Deuteronomy 6: 6-7 6 These commandments that I give you today are to be on your hearts. 7 Impress them on your children. Talk about them when you sit at home and when you walk along the road, when you lie down and when you get up".

I will always keep my word.
I will walk with the heart of a servant.
I am passionate about doing the work of God.
I will influence others to be better.
I know how to say I’m sorry.
I am a protector and my family’s spiritual leader.

3. I WILL ALWAYS BE MERCIFUL TO PEOPLE
James 2: 12-13 12 Speak and act as those who are going to be judged by the law that gives freedom, 13 because judgment without mercy will be shown to anyone who has not been merciful. Mercy triumphs over judgment.’
I will treat men and women with respect.
I am committed to being a giver.

There is glory in Obedience. There is glory when you walk on God’s lighted path. There is glory when you are faithful. The Glory is God’s, yours is in the blessings and yours is the joy of giving yourself away for His sake.

Your character will always be the reflection of the choices you have made.
So what is negotiable? And what principles will you live and die for? (Be known for). If you have been wondering what your legacy will be…Here it is.

You can change anything on this shortlist that you have negotiated or compromised. We serve a God of a second chance.

Today can be a day of resetting old habits and making commitments to walk taller before God and man. Today can be the beginning of a new vision…a day of new beginnings. A new day when you walk into the power of the union you can have with God almighty. God has called each of us to be children of courage by the strength of the Holy Spirit. It is God who brings the increase you need to make this happen. It is by His Spirit that these things will happen if you humble yourself before God and men.

Please pray this week for God to touch your heart that you might see what he is saying in this to you.
