“Still Calling: God’s Voice in the Eleventh Hour”
“For the Lord Himself will descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trumpet of God…”
— 1 Thessalonians 4:16
“The Lord is not slow in keeping His promise, as some understand slowness. Instead, He is patient with you, not wanting anyone to perish, but everyone to come to repentance.”
— 2 Peter 3:9
Can you feel the holy tension in the world right now—a feeling that things aren’t just changing, they’re accelerating? Earthquakes, wars, lawlessness, deception, and darkness seem to dominate the headlines. But these aren’t just signs of chaos… they are signs of mercy.
Yes, mercy.
The world often mocks the idea of the Rapture or Christ’s return. Some even in the Church have grown 2000 years numb to it. But God has never stopped warning, never stopped calling, which means he has never stopped loving. Every fulfilled prophecy is another whisper of God’s mercy shouting:
“Come to Me before the door closes.”
What will it take to realize we are living on the edge of eternity? The trumpet hasn’t sounded yet—because mercy is still at work and God is still calling your name.
“But understand this: If the owner of the house had known at what hour the thief was coming, he would not have let his house be broken into.” — Luke 12:39
Jesus is not returning to scare us—He’s returning to rescue us. He will deliver His chosen and those surrendered before his wrath is unleashed. The trumpet is not a threat; it’s a promise. But it will sound suddenly. And only those who were watching, waiting, and ready will go with Him (Matthew 25:1–13).
The story of the Five Virgins isn’t just about oil, but survival. It wasn’t a casual invite to the wedding feast…it was a catastrophic midnight calling! But they didn’t have that mentality, and neither do most Christians. It usually requires some heightened level of fear or near-death and then…. A possible epiphany comes. But the urgency isn’t to push you into fear. The urgency is the echo of His love.
Warnings are never harsh when they come from the One who bled for you. God isn’t shouting down from heaven in anger. He’s reaching out in mercy, pleading: That’s the issue with the Church today, they are not listening…Are you?
There will always be a line between the wise and the foolish!
“Return to Me, and I will return to you,” says the Lord Almighty.
— Malachi 3:7
The Rapture is real. The time is short. But the heart of God is still wide open.
The final trumpet is foreshadowed before it sounds. God signals. The shadow has shown itself time and time again. A constant and consistent call for heavenly preparation.
How many of us are blind to the signs of the Time (A Few Prophetic Markers):
- Increase in wars and rumors of wars (Matthew 24:6)
- Lawlessness and cold love (Matthew 24:12)
- Global deception and delusion (2 Thessalonians 2:10–12)
- A great falling away from truth (2 Thessalonians 2:3)
- Israel at the center of global attention (Zechariah 12:2–3)
- Technology aligning with prophecy (Rev. 13:16–17 (the mark of the beast, digital control systems, AI)
These aren’t just FOX news stories. They are spiritual tremors. They’re divine billboards blinking “Get Ready.”
Amos 3:7 states, “Surely the Lord God does NOTHING, unless He reveals His secret to His servants the prophets“. He…the sovereign Lord… takes no significant action or event without disclosing it to his prophets and broadcasting the news of his impending judgement…to warn his people…to give each of us an opportunity to repent and change our behavior…potentially averting the consequences of our actions. You must see, He doesn’t hide from His people, how they can have true life. Jesus spoke specifically of the signs in Matt 24: & John 14: 1-3 “He goes to prepare a place and will return to take his followers before the tribulation.”
Are you Reflecting & What’s Your Response? I pray you have noticed that Heaven’s silence becomes loud when one is listening intently. Gen 18:20-23 is another such warning “Then the Lord said, “The outcry against Sodom and Gomorrah is so great and their sin so grievous 21 that I will go down and see if what they have done is as bad as the outcry that has reached me. If not, I will know. 22 The men turned away, but Abraham remained standing before the Lord.[a] 23 Then Abraham approached him and said: “Will you sweep away the righteous with the wicked? You remember, He finally got the Lord down to just 10 to save the city. But there were not 10.
The Rapture isn’t a rumor—it’s a rescue. And God’s mercy is holding the door open just a little longer, waiting for you to walk through.
- Have you been ignoring or downplaying God’s loving warnings?
- Are you spiritually ready if the trumpet were to sound today?
- Is there someone you need to warn—someone you love deeply who still doesn’t know the mercy of Jesus?
Is this a call to action for you. Another chance to surrender further so you can reach the next level?:
Don’t wait for more signs—they’re already here.
Respond now. Repent now. Share now.
God is still calling in the eleventh hour—but midnight is near.
“Lord, awaken me to Your voice in this hour. Thank You for Your mercy that still calls to me through the noise of this world. I don’t want to be caught sleeping or distracted. Help me to walk in repentance, readiness, and urgency—not out of fear, but because I love You and trust Your Word. Use me to sound the alarm in love to those around me. In Jesus’ name, amen.”
“He’s still calling… but not for long. Are you listening? and who will you call this week?”
