Sunday’s Prophecy. “I am doing a New thing. Step into the deeper waters”!
“Can you feel it? Look in the spirit and see I am doing a new thing. It is a special season of Grace… filled with the joy of the spirit and the power that come with it. Press in my child do not miss it!
Stay focused on me. Press in closer. Closer…and your eyes will be opened. You will hear my voice and direction for the season ahead. That pathway is one of holiness and humility.
Don’t wait for it. Humble yourself and press into the presence of my word.
The presence of my everlasting love. I have cleared the path for you to come. Unobstructed. Look up. Reach up. Come in… as I desire to prepare and instruct you for your next season. Step into these deeper waters and be filled with a clearer vision”.
I walked into this anointing Sunday morning in worship. I had a rare visit from my 96 yr old Mom who attended church with my family on Mother’s day. I could feel Him immediately. He said to “look in the spirit and see”. So even today as I share this with you, I have turned on some instrumental worship music to help me focus as I have set my eyes and heart upon the Lord. Clearing my head of all the pressures of now…All the urgent beckoning’s before me and set my heart on Jesus.
He said this was “ a special season of Grace, filled with Joy and its accompanying power”. I take that to mean that Jesus is again providing unmerited favor for those who would claim this word as their own! Grace… God’s divine influence to save us…change us…sanctify us to be more like Christ. To be more loving, kinder, understanding, and discerning.
He says, “do not miss it… Press in closer. AND your eyes will be opened!” How many times have we asked for that?. Prayed for more direction and clarity? He said, “the pathway is one of holiness and humility!” His word is clear… Right Now! Don’t wait or put this off. “Humble yourself, tell him you're sorry for being too busy for him, and press into the presence of his word!” Commit today to read his word more. Can you receive this word by faith?
Will you let go of your past fears and what if’s? He said that whatever has been holding you back… whatever it is… if you would just lay it down right now… surrender it right now… Like a broken vase, the contents spilled out before God’s forgiveness, grace, and mercy. That he would take you to a new spirit-filled level in his presence.
This is not a time for philosophy or overthinking but for just laying yourself down. It is called dying to an old self…our old ways… old inclinations and habits. He said, “you could come unobstructed”! Unobstructed…are you listening? By His spirit, not by your power or your might or your will power, but by his spirit. He has cleared the way, making your way unobstructed to come in. Just bow down and humble yourself. Don’t be like Peter looking around as the storm surged but “Look Up”…and enter into his presence. He said, “this was a time of preparing you for this next season…your next chapter”… He says, He wants to fill you today with the resolve and the power to receive your instructions for the days ahead and even some of the nights and trials ahead. He wants you to “step into the deeper waters” today…to be changed, to be forgiven, to be empowered, to feel the love and mercy of a gracious savior who wants to bless you. Who wants to mold you into his image!
He wants to take you to a sacred place today. Do not be afraid. Do not think these minutes are too uncomfortable for you. God doesn’t require you to do anything but open your heart and mind to his Holy Spirit. It may be the first time for some of you. And that’s ok as God's timing is always perfect. Do not be afraid…just let go and receive God’s anointing by stepping into the deeper waters of his presence. He said the way forward is through humility and holiness which are both gifts of the Holy Spirit. Gifts from God so you can see Him…See His love…His Grace, forgiveness, and mercy.
God’s grace implies a benign attitude and a willingness to grant favors or make concessions… by the grace of God himself.
I feel this is a season of blessing and a coming out of an old life…
an old self into a new you…
A spirit-filled you… so you can see God with new spirit eyes…
Know him more intimately and securely.
Know the peace of God and the Wonder of Him in your daily walk, in every aspect of your work, and family, and in your
new level of relationship with God the Holy Spirit.
