Sunday’s Prophesy: God’s Vision for us!
We have a host of new people who have come on board since The Man Event
I hope you enjoy the morning 3 to 5-minute devotional.
“My Promises hold the heart of the vision I have for you. My very words encompass the truth and revelation of your tomorrows. You cannot grow without seeing me, hearing me, knowing my heart. My plans for you are the vision you must search for and keep before you. It will hold you during the storms. It will be my light to hold you fast and true to my calling. When the dust settles, you’ll find yourself close to the lighthouse. Close to my vision for you. It all comes from me. Holy thoughts, divine purpose, and Holy Spirit power will keep you planted and aiming towards the vision of my love and purpose for you. It is a light others will aspire to, gravitate to, and want to be near. And the vision grows”.
Vision: “Change how a person thinks, and you will change how they feel. Change how they feel, and you will change how they perform. Change how they perform and you will change the results. Change the results and you will change their lives.” “R. W. Ross”
“A company’s vision is an end-state that they never fully realize. In other words, it’s a state of the world so audacious you never quite get there, but you die trying.” — Brian Chesky
Even the world gets it. Isn’t that what God has called us to? Aren’t’ God’s ways eminently higher than our ways. Aren’t his thoughts incredibly higher than ours?
Philippians 3:12-14
“I don’t mean to say that I have already achieved these things or that I have already reached perfection. But I press on to possess that perfection for which Christ Jesus first possessed me. No, dear brothers and sisters, I have not achieved it, but I focus on this one thing: Forgetting the past and looking forward to what lies ahead, I press on to reach the end of the race and receive the heavenly prize for which God, through Christ Jesus, is calling us.”
Paul talks about possessing the perfection for which Christ “first possessed me”. Think about that. He is pressing on to what lays ahead, to receive the heavenly prize that Jesus is calling us to. We never quite get there, but we die trying. Isn’t that prolific? I want to do that. To keep pressing toward the vision, he has for us and die in its pursuit.
Jeremiah 29 11 “’For I know the plans I have for you,’ declares the Lord, ‘plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you a hope and a future. ‘” Isn’t that a Vision? Do you aspire to achieve yours first or God’s first?
Proverbs 29:18 “Where there is no vision, the people perish”. God’s vision for you is his revelation for your future. How can we not wait on it? Pray for it? Intercede for it? Die for it? If God’s word is worth more than life,
how old do we have to be to get that?
I read online that a Visionary Leader must: Be the person others choose to follow. Provide a vision for the future. Provide inspiration. Make other people feel important and appreciated. Jesus is the person we know we must follow and emulate. He has carefully laid out a vision and a plan for your life. When we know God we will know that path. Finally, Jesus is always about loving people, inspiring them, and calling them to follow him.
