Sunday Prophesy. Why Can’t You Trust God?
“What is it my child that keeps you distant? What is it that keeps you from trusting my word to carry all your burdens? WHAT? Surrender –
Surrender your thoughts and fears, disappointments and failures. They are all under the blood. – ALL – Give it up. Give it up! GIVE IT UP. Have faith in me – Have faith in my words! Stay close to me until you can take them inside of you. They will change you… Take away your fears… I will change the filter that you see all of life through. It will remove your anger, guilt, obsessions, failures. “IN ME” all things are made new. Sit with me a while and let me make you new”.
We are always fighting this control thing. Like we possess such a thing. You know we don’t. Its an illusion. I know trust isn’t an easy thing for you. It isn’t for almost all of us. But is there anyone else more faithful? What do you lose by trusting God? Think about it. Fear…Anxiety…Apprehension…What if…not sleeping… Worry. Even if you don’t get exactly what you want…
you win by losing all of that STUFF!
You believe you have to protect yourself. Let God be your protector.
Psalm 121:7-8. "The Lord will keep you from all evil; he will keep your life". We get God to protect us by reading and taking to heart such promises as we find in the Bible:
LORD, I seek refuge in You; let me never be disgraced. In Your justice, rescue and deliver me; listen closely to me and save me. Be a rock of refuge for me, where I can always go.
What is Divine Protection? Divine protection, in its true and real sense, means the soul’s welfare… so that nothing can bring harm to it or be an obstacle to its happy growth and divine fulfilment.
When will we surrender our fears and believe God has a plan for us? Give it up! Today he went beyond saying Have Faith. He said have faith in me! In God himself! Stay so close you can feel fathers arm around you. So close you can feel his hand clenching yours. Don’t you remember those days as a youngster? He said, he will change your filter…How you see things… How you believe…How you trust. Lay it down my friend. You have done all you can do… Now its time to rest in His peace. In the shelter of the Almighty. Would you just close your eyes for a minute and take him in. Give it up and trust God…whatever happens…He will take care of YOU! He promised.
