What does it mean… Love Remains?
Mercy and goodness give us assurance. His never-ending chorus throughout the Bible is – We are never alone. His spirit was given, gifted to us, to live in us, empower us, and give us understanding and wisdom. Something far above the knowledge of man or technology
He is the truth in the promises of our redemption from mediocrity and human reliance. From physical to being born again of the spirit. What does it say to you to have an intercessor praying for you? Looking over you? Interceding for your good before Father God? It is spelled L O V E!
What does it mean when Jesus has poured out his love on you personally.
While we are yet sinners he calls, beckons, and encourages… He continues to pour new mercies every day upon each of us. Goodness is who he is. We grow in stages and through seasons. We stumble through rebellion and selfishness, but his voice is constant, his calling to you personally is: John 7:38 gives us the assurance that “Whoever believes in Me, as the Scripture said, ‘From his innermost being will flow rivers of living water. ‘” And this deserves a big “yes” and “amen!” … In His Name, the Name of Jesus, we shout a resounding “Yes” and “Amen!” For nothing can separate us from the love of God.
Whatever you’re carrying today will not and cannot change what love is. What love is not, what love does and what it never does. One Corinthians 13:13 faith, hope, love, are tools that guide you through life. I heard on Sunday the faith and hope are for us, but love is always for others. Love never loses interest.
He said, love never leans out… but always leans in. Even when it’s uncomfortable. Even when there has been a spat or disagreement between two people. It’s a learned behavior just like humility.
Learned by the choices that we make.
Love is a choice to remain, through it all. Jesus, said, to remain in me no matter what. John 15:7 “If you remain in me and my words remain in you, ask whatever you wish, and it will be done for you”. What does that mean? "to remain stable or fixed in a state." In the phrase "abide in me," Jesus is asking his followers to stay constant in their relationship with him. He said the second commandment is like unto it, love thy neighbor as thyself.
Even when Jesus was laid in the tomb his love never left us. Jesus sent his Holy Spirit to remain with us! Love remains…no matter what. Love does the uncomfortable and the part that’s hard for me to see is that HIS LOVE is made complete in us. Think about that and what you see in the mirror. How is that possible?
1 John 4:4 “Whoever does not love does not know God, because God is love. No one has ever seen God; but if we love one another, God lives in us, and his love is made complete in us. We know that we live in him and he in us BECAUSE he has given us of his Spirit”.
We must learn the art of never leaving or forsaking. Why? Because it’s the language of heaven. That can only happen when we rest in God. When we remain in our love for him and our trust and God’s wisdom to know that can only happen as we lean in, to the Holy Spirit.
Lord help me to see your way and not my knowledge. Help me love you more than I love myself. Help me to stay in your presence until I can see your reflection in the mirror of my heart. I love you lord. Help me to pray an hour this week, that I may see more of your holiness.

My Mom Adele is really struggling with discouragement and some despair at being so weak and unable to get stronger. Please pray with us.
They told me today that after an X-ray last week they want a CT Scan to investigate the white pockets in my lungs to see if they are infected and what can be done about them. I do not still have Covid but evidently, this may be the damage that remains. I am believing for a complete healing.
