A NEW YEAR. NEW RESOLUTIONS. A NEW HOPE.
“Behold I make all things new”! (Rev. 21:5)
What’s your plan for 2021 to make things new?
God said He has a plan to bless you.
Do you know His new plans for you in 2021?
Have you asked? Are you listening?
What was your assessment of your life in 2020? What will you purposely learn from it? Spiritually, relationally, financially, physically, and your job.
If you don’t write them down, the wisdom will surely pass you by.
It’s time to tap into God Plans for your future, your families, and your church. Don’t begin this new year with the attitude, these things never work out for me! Deuteronomy 30:19 God has given each of us a choice. “I have set before you life and death, blessing and cursing: therefore, choose life, that both you and your seed may live.” Your words have power!
Choose your new year, it is there for the creating!
Reflect on your year and ASK the Holy Spirit to give you direction to the changes HE wants in your life and dedicate them to Him this year.
MAKE TIME! This is important for you.
Take your spouse along or a close friend so you can be accountable and be an encouragement to each other. He sent us out by two for a reason.
God has your template …your plan… but you must perform it!
We’re all tired of 2020 – let ‘s be intentional and create a new and vibrant future.
MARK TWAIN SAID, “New Year’s Day – now is the accepted time to make your regular annual good resolutions. Next week you can begin paving hell with them as usual.”
BUT, this year can be different.
Be prepared for 30 days of stumbling but you’ll amaze yourself with God’s help!
The promise of being made new, being born again, is at the heart of the Gospel, the Good News! St. Paul reminded the Christians – and reminds every one of us – “whoever is in Christ is a new creation: the old things have passed away; behold, new things have come.” (2 Cor. 5:17)
St Josemaria Escriva once wrote: “For a son of God each day should be an opportunity for renewal, knowing for sure that with the help of God’s grace, he will reach the end of the road, which is Love. That is why if you begin and begin again, you are doing well. If you have a will to win, if you struggle, then with God’s help you will conquer. There will be no difficulty you cannot overcome.” (The Forge, 344)
Reflect deeply on your year and ASK the Holy Spirit to give you directions about the changes HE wants in your life and dedicate them to Him.
Making a New, Vibrant and Happy New Year is up to you.
With God ALL things are possible.
