It’s too late to be used by God.
COURAGEOUS IS TONIGHT 7PM PLEASE COME!
I can’t imagine God creating a marvelous jewel and putting it in a box in the back of a drawer somewhere to save for posterities sake. I see him putting that light on a hill to be seen and appreciated by countless others. He created each of you, unique and beautiful for a wonderful purpose. Some of you might run a country or a company or maybe parent some incredible children like the prophet John the Baptist or perhaps an Ester that will change the face of a nation. Whatever God’s call on your life you must embrace that you are not an accident waiting to happen. You are not some leftover in creation, you are an amazingly created jewel expressly designed first and foremost to worship and honor your creator.
But how hard it is sometimes to discover that eternal truth.
We wander in our young age, middle age, and old age to be happy, to do something fulfilling and useful and we spend too much of our time if not our life frustrated and searching for this truth that there must be more. We believe in the simplest lies of Satan. I am now too old to make an impact. I have lived my life and it’s time to pass the baton onto a younger sect to carry the torch. Or I am too young and inexperienced to make an impact. I will not step out and embarrass myself. Or who could possibly want to take the time to teach me?
Maybe we have lived the greater part of life away from God and now as a newer Christian what could I possibly impart to another except what not to do?
But the truth is, God has a special appointed time for you and me to do something great and amazing for the “least of these”…
and I don’t want either of us to miss it.
Together we can give help and hope to others who are languishing in their despair and in their hopelessness that no one cares. And in the midst of this, we will discover a purpose and a joy in giving or giving back for the much we have been blessed with. But you must come off dead center and move forward doing something, anything.
Did you know Noah lived to be 650 years old and he spent 100 of it building an ark in a land that had never seen rain and in so doing, saved his family. One is never too old. Sarah, Abraham’s wife gave birth to a nation when she was 90. Tell me what disqualifies you? God is not done. It is not his way or his truth.
I’m not sure what that might look like for you? It could be as simple as joining a bible study or inviting someone to one. It could be joining a small group of other Christians to grow with and share the experiences of your life and the many times God has saved you, oftentimes from you. It might just begin by grabbing a friend or coworker and taking them to church.
Everyone needs God and his unwavering truth or we can listen to CNN. Choose you this day who you will serve.
Romans 11:29 says, “For the gifts and calling of God are without repentance.” “Without repentance” means that God won’t change His mind about what He has given you..
IT IS NEVER TOO LATE TO LOVE!
HIS CALLING WILL “NEVER” GO AWAY!
YOUR GREATEST BLESSINGS
ARE JUST BEYOND THE WALL OF OBEDIENCE.
