Are you invested correctly?

Do you have enough life insurance? You know your loved ones depend on you. How have you prepared for the future? What are your kids learning by watching you? Are you thinking this is about whole life insurance? It’s not. We intentionally have a savings or 401k or we are planning on having those things.

But there is another Eternal Life Insurance that is much more important, and it is free for the asking, free for the taking. Free for sharing with those we love the most. It is more than just accepting Jesus into our lives. It is a way of life. It is a way to think, act and love. It is a determination of who you have decided to be and what worldly view you have decided to follow.

What fruits have you decided to water and cultivate? For example: Feeding righteousness planted within you will take more than a minute to water that seed. It means meditating on, rehearsing, and considering over and over again the truth found in God’s word. Preparing for the REAL future including fantasizing about God’s truth. That’s right. Let it become as real to you as the realness of the WORLD around you. Just like worrying about something actually makes it worse, so fantasizing about the righteous truths and promises of God in His word will make them more real to you. More positive and hopeful to you. It becomes Faith!

So… How much time do you spend in an average week examining your bible? What are the top three obstacles you face during that time?

Look, living in victory requires replacing the deceptions of Satan and the distortions in your soul with the Righteousness of God found in His truth. That is real Life Insurance. We need to make this a part of us, so our words start speaking to our bodies and minds the righteousness of God. When you spend time differently by reading His Word, you begin to think differently, speak differently, live differently… Because you ARE different

Lord, I want to be different in you. I don’t want to continue walking in the limitations of my past or my present. I want you to change me into your likeness. Into your kindness, your understanding and love, and forgiveness. Lord, I want your righteousness to rise us alive in me… today!
