Sunday's Prophecy – Dedicating our Children to God.

“You were removed to see five babies dedicated by their families. What a special time. But look deeper and see a higher truth. I desire for you to dedicate your days to me. Not just your life, but every waking minute, and hour in every day. Dedicate yourself to me. My ways. My truth, My armor, My thinking. Dedicate "you to me"… up close and personal. In the morning, noon and night… can you feel me? Believe me? Be sustained by me? Yes, I AM right here. I receive it as sweet incense, even a sacrifice of praise, and in that, you release the power of praise and the power of obedience. It isn’t just a special dedication when they’re born, or when they’re baptized, or married. It is your decision to dedicate you… to me… every day. Decide by the proclamation of your mouth… by putting my words in your mouth because they carry the power and the discernment of your day.

And then you will find your breakthrough, along with a peace to live in and walk-in. It is me causing this power to transform you into an obedient child. Hear me. Speak to me. Every morning and dedicate your day to me and stand back and see the glory that will come. You’ll feel the peace and strength that you’re growing daily. To love more, to love deeper, to love purer, to be more like me, moving from glory to glory. I have decreed it!. Dedicate your days to me”.

I love the way that the Holy Spirit encourages us. It’s almost like I am talking to my grandfather as I sit at his feet…patiently learning. I am always moved when parents bring their children forth to be dedicated to God. Offering up their children’s lives. To bless them that they might love Him and exalt him all of their days. I see that the love in the hearts of these parents is only exceeded by the privilege they feel to be chosen by God and the gratitude they feel believing that for their children also.

We all see through a glass dimly. I pray you take this gentle encouragement today to dedicate your days to Christ. That you begin to wake up like our kids used to on Christmas morning. So excited for what is about to happen. It begins then…with the opening of our eyes acknowledging him as the Lord of our lives, not just the Lord of all. Spend a few minutes talking to him, just like he did to me on Sunday morning. Start journaling and you will begin to see that he will talk to you the very same way. It just takes a few minutes to dedicate your day to him and lay all that you are and envision at his feet.

Psalm 37:3-5

"Then you will live safely in the land and prosper. Take delight in the Lord, and he will give you your heart's desires. Commit everything you do to the Lord. Trust him, and he will help you."
