Letters from God – Come Sit With Me Again – Part 3
My dearest child,
You don’t need to have everything figured out before you come back to Me.
You just need to come.
Somewhere along the way, you’ve made this harder than it was meant to be.
But I told you, “Abide in Me…” (John 15:4).
Not strive. Not perform. Just remain.
Sit with Me again…Even if it feels unfamiliar. Even if your mind wanders…Stay.
Because you’re not rebuilding a habit…You’re restoring a relationship…What is that worth?
What will you invest in that prize? Don’t despise small beginnings.
A few quiet minutes.
A single verse.
An honest prayer.
This is where your attention begins to heal.
I told you, “In the morning… I lay my requests before You” (Psalm 5:3).
Start there.
Before the noise starts to bound the day into a frenzy… Before the world pulls at you to lose yourself in it!
And as you return to Me, you’ll begin to see clearly again. You’ll feel a peace come on you like a soft breeze on a summer day. You’ll notice what needs to be laid down…It’s just a whisper…but you know it inside. Yes, it’s me talking to you in your thoughts… in that little inkling that’s looking for air to take a deeper breath.
Look, I’m not saying that everything is wrong… but some things are too much. Too soon… Right?
Too loud.
Too constant.
Too distracting.
I told you, “Throw off everything that hinders…” (Hebrews 12:1).
You already know what some of those are. Pick one… Just one…Today!
Trust that. And as your attention returns to Me…and it will.
You’ll begin to notice people again….Really notice them… Your level of discernment will increase…Your heart to care will feel like a soft summer shower…It will feel good. You’ll start to see things on another level. You’ll start to see…
Those who are tired.
Overwhelmed.
Quietly searching.
I placed you there for a reason. I’ve opened your eyes for such a time as this..
“To Carry each other’s burdens…” (Galatians 6:2). You can’t do that if you’re too distracted to see them.
But one life, focused and present… Can change more than you imagine. So don’t rush this. Take a moment and take it in. Could you pray for them… maybe with them?
Could you show forth my goodness in some way… for my glory not for your recognition?
Don’t turn it into pressure….This is an invitation my child…from me to you, my beloved.
Come sit with Me again. .. Daily. I am a jealous God and I miss you.
“Remain in Me… and you will bear much fruit” (John 15:5).
I am not waiting for a better version of you….I am waiting for you.
And I am here. I love you.
