Mom and a Healing Update!
Much has happened and Mom is progressing a little every day. They figured out she does not have Covid and moved her from that isolated area. She has been battling with the second bout of Pneumonia. Whether it is a continuation or new there seems to be some confusion. They are leaning towards this being new. Her battle is the inflammation of the Lungs causing A-fib, chest pain, and needing a high oxygen input and steroids to keep her going. Her Oxygen machine is still at a 6 (from a 9) and they won’t let her leave until it is a three. They did an ultrasound of her heart and when she had chest pains last night and an EKG but said that her heart is strong and that it was Afib which is not unusual for someone 95. Her strength is improving slightly each day as is her humor and song selection. (She likes singing).
With you, we have been believing his promise to her that he was “not done with her yet”. Sunday and Monday there was nothing in the natural that said we could make it through this. I must admit it is very hard to face death, despairing doctors, and the flood of emotions that flow naturally while you are trying to hold onto God’s promises. And except for fleeting moments of emotions, especially when we thought it could be over, all 5 of us kids kept believing in a miracle.
Right now we see the end of the tunnel and it doesn’t look like a train. We believe it is a light shining on my Mom and can see in the natural, not just the spirit, that she is going to make it. The last time this happened she was 8 days out and crashed. Please continue to pray with us that we are on a different road today.
I have spoken to several dear friends during this time that are facing some serious medical situations. I have encouraged them to hold to the prophecy the Lord gave me Saturday night. “To take ahold of the prophecy that God gave us and to "make it personal.” To your situation. Here it is again, in case you missed it on Monday.
“ Your breakthrough is on the horizon. Be at peace regarding your Mom, like she said, I am not done with her yet. Be at peace – only believe.
Pray with all fervor for my healing and the rock of my presence. My mercy is new every morning and is her daily strength. My free gift of love and covenant".
There are many who are sick and ailing, encourage them to grab onto this prophecy. As you make my promises personal, make this personal.”
Job 42:10 And the Lord restored the fortunes of Job when he had prayed for his friends. And the Lord gave Job twice as much as he had before.
Isaiah 53:4-5 Surely he hath borne our griefs and carried our sorrows: yet we did esteem him stricken, smitten of God, and afflicted. But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him, and with his stripes, we are healed.
Confession:
Surely Jesus hath borne my sicknesses and diseases and carried my pains. He bore them and carried them away to a distance. I don’t have to bear what He bore for me. I refuse to bear what He bore for me. Satan cannot put on me what Jesus bore for me. By His stripes, I am healed and made whole.
1 Peter 2:24 Who his own self bore our sins in His own body on the tree, that we, being dead to sins, should live unto righteousness: by whose stripes ye were healed.
I take that to mean his bruising WAS your healing. Take that! Proclaim that! In the face of utter darkness do not be moved by what you see, hear or think…God is able…
God is bigger than that! His word is truth everlasting. You can trust him.
Without faith, it is impossible to please God.
Confession:
By Jesus’ stripes, I was healed. Healing belongs to me. I was healed 2,000 years ago by the stripes Jesus bore. I’m not trying to get healed. I’ve got healing because by His stripes I was healed.
1 John 3: (Amplified) The reason the Son of God was made manifest (visible) was to undo (destroy, loosen and dissolve) the works the devil [has done].
Confession:
Sickness is a work of the devil. Jesus came to destroy the works of the devil. Sickness has been dissolved, broken up, annulled, undone, and liquidated as far as I am concerned. Jesus put sickness to an end for me.
For my Mom Adele and maybe for your loved one too. She has a road to recovery that still must be walked. There will be much physical therapy and it will not be an easy road physically but God has spoken life in her.
God’s promises are alive in her. For me and my house… we will praise the Lord for the great work he has done. He said for you to grab ahold of that prophesy and make it personal … to you. Do not be moved by what you see, hear or think! Hold fast to his promise and he will be there when the smoke clears. Oh did I tell you they cut her steroids in half today? God is moving!
