Mom’s in Trouble
I’m asking you today to join hands with us as we seek God’s blessing and victory against this Covid Pneumonia remnant that seems to be lingering with my 95-year-old Mom. (Adele) Saturday night at our Grace Family Church they honored my daughter Danielle by having a special presentation of her high school diploma in full cap and gown. During the time of High School Graduation, my entire household came down with Covid. My 95-year-old mother and I also got Pneumonia also. She saw the pulmonologist on Tuesday who said that it would a slow recovery at best but the clot on her lungs had disappeared. We had a wonderful party for Danielle afterward but the morning after the attack came in full force.
My Mom had been taken to Miami to stay with my other sister for some special IV infusions due to her continued extreme tiredness and immobility. Sunday morning I got a call that Mom’s oxygen level had dropped to a critical 68 and they had rushed her to the emergency room. I hitched a ride with my brother and all of us children headed south. She had been on oxygen at home at a level 5 (maximum) and they raised her to 9, took X-rays of her chest again, and retested her for Covid. She tested negative but they wanted to put her in an isolation area because of her age with no visitors. Her vital signs stabilized during the day. (Praise God) and they finally took her to her room at 8 pm. The second sign of favor came when they said she was going to a private room and we could all be with her on Monday. Mom started crying.
The Pulmonologist will be coming by this morning and we are looking for answers and directions.
SETBACK: We got a very sad message as we went to be with Mom this morning. SHE TESTED POSITIVE FOR COVID on her second test and they will quarantine her again. I do not understand and of course, this is awful news. The attack is raging in our flesh and in our minds. But I am drawn again to the prophecy God gave me Saturday at 5:15 PM
Interestingly during praise and worship on Saturday and just before my daughter’s graduation ceremony the Lord gave me a word about my Mom.
“ Your breakthrough is on the horizon.
Be at peace regarding your Mom, like she said, I am not done with her yet.
Be at peace – only believe.
Pray with all fervor for my healing and the rock of my presence. My mercy is new every morning and is her daily strength. My free gift of love and covenant.
There are many who are sick and ailing, encourage them to grab onto this prophecy. As you make my promises personal,
make this personal.
My word is truth, I cannot lie. Speak to your mountains! Hold up my name. Hold up my promises. Do not be moved by what you see or hear or even think. Take every thought captive and see only me. Hear only me. Speak only my promises and you will see your breakthrough!”
Today is the day to take a stand. As is often the case, as we pray for others, like my Mom and Pastor Dale Brooks who will get some answers this week from Moffet Cancer Center, God answers our prayers. We cannot outgive God. What he says he will do. Please fight with us. Please Pray with Us and for those who need healing.
