Sunday Prophesy: Be Obedient!
Sunday Prophesy: Don’t be discouraged. It is never about the numbers. “Be Obedient” I am the one who makes it happen. Gideon was a reluctant warrior, but it was I who called him, empowered him and the victory was mine and then his and yours. Stand steadfast and be obedient in the cloud of uncertainty. They are everywhere but I AM everywhere. The 1st and the last, the Alpha and Omega. I am not surprised or set back…”All things do work together for your good and my will in my time” Do not be dismayed, press into “Our Time” Press into me! I will direct the intercessor. I have a remnant among you. They are my called and chosen to stand at the brink of the Abyss and I will provide the way and the road forward, across the Chasm. Only have faith, do not let your hope be diminished. Like Peter, keep your eyes on me. I will cause you to stand. I AM your answer to the unknown. Press in. Be Obedient and “I will” be your high tower. My protection will follow you all the days of your life when you are hopefully obedient and faithful.
Be encouraged in me- not in what you see. “Only Me”!
Did you know that when you proclaim something, when you speak it out loud you gain a clearer perspective of what it is?
“I am who you say I am!”. I know that the Bible says that about me. He said that to Gideon. I need to say, "You are for me, not against me." You can rest upon the Scripture: "If our God is for us, who can stand against us?”
(Romans 8:31) But that requires we believe in who he is and what he said. PERIOD! Jesus asked his disciples, "Who do men say that I am?" Only Peter, under the influence of the Holy Spirit, spoke correctly. You are the Christ the son of the Living God!
But don’t we also proclaim who I am with great tenacity? We tend to believe what others say we are. What our parents said we are. And then eventually, we affirm, I am who I say I am. Our words have real power. And when I say, I am a loser, I am well on my way. When I say I can’t do anything right, I am probably right. When I say I will probably never get over this mountain you probably won’t.
Isn’t it amazing what we choose to believe? What we proclaim out of our own mouths, while Christ is always pointing us to God and what He says about us? To not be moved by our emotions but on every word that comes out of his holy word? There is hope there. Reality there…Truth there…but we play with the spirit of unbelief and carelessly throw around our words thinking they have no real impact. But God says they do.
I got to thinking that the road forward is the word forward. Proclaiming God’s word into your days and into your future. Your children’s future and your marriage future, Versus our words of limitation and fear and unbelief.
The church called us today to 21 days of prayer and fasting as we lead up to Easter. Many of you have been in a prayer line for weeks now. Some have asked when is the most popular time we are praying together so they can join in. Monday’s at 12:00 noon. Join us for a while if you can.
Come lets us pray together, proclaim together and grow together.
Will you not stop and pray with us and your family for one hour this week?
