Sunday's Prophesy – A new Spirit In You.
"You’ve got this, all things are yes and amen in Jesus Christ. Keep pressing in. Keep looking up. You can see it in your mind's eye. Loose your faith! Let loose your faith to see what I see for you. You have only a glimpse. Press in further. Let go of the natural ways. This is a spiritual calling and can only come if you lay down your ways and pick up the sword of the spirit. Put to death the old ways, die to them. For there is a new spirit within you. If you walk in the spirit you can see in the spirit and you will see my vision for your tomorrow’s. You’ll see a host of warriors who are standing with you – making up the hedge for you. Pour out your heart to me and I will refill it with hope and mercy and grace and vision for the new thing I have planned for you".
Are you listening what do those words mean to you? Isn’t there power in that encouragement? Sometimes the Holy Spirit gives us a glimpse of God's vision for us. But God is a spirit and we must come out of ourselves to embrace that truth. A glimpse might be something you see faintly. it could be an inkling in your spirit to go here or do that. It may be a small voice or series of apparent coincidences that make you stop and say…this is not serendipitous.
Our fleshly desires will always be in a battle with God to obey those leadings. He says put those old ways and fears to death. Death is a very strong word. When you walk in the spirit you will see him…you will see his direction becoming clear. He said you will have a host of warriors praying for you. You may be one of those intercessors around the globe one day that he uses to cover others but today he wants to embolden you… that he has others making up the hedge in your armor until you come close enough to him and are filled with his hope, mercy, and grace to pray and intercede for others who are younger and more vulnerable to the ways of the world.
He promises to open our Spirit eyes to see a better way… beyond the fear and apprehensiveness in the world today. Don't just NOT get caught up in the fear around you, BUT press forward, and shine his saving grace and hope first upon your house and then to those around you. In that journey…that pilgrimage, he promises you will walk in his light and discover his vision for you. And in so doing you will become an inspiration of hope to others that are struggling the same way.
