Sunday's Prophesy – Discovering Who We Are?
"If you don’t really know me how can you possibly know yourself?
Who are you? Who are you in me?
Do you know the purpose I have in your existence? Do you know who I have called you to be? Without that you are a ship without a rudder – STOP –
I am not silent about your calling and purpose. I promise!
Be still and seek me till you have my purpose for you. Everything else is a counterfeit – all else falls far beneath the gifts I have gifted you. What is your spirit lead vision for living? Fall to your knees and pray that the scales of the world that have blinded you… fall off! You can’t continue without MY purpose for you. It is a great journey of discovery. I promise it will change everything. It will be likened to the sun exploding for you. Freedom, Peace, Courage, Hope. In me….and for you I offer the anointing to break your yoke of bondage.
Don’t settle for less. Hear me".
Does the only Sovereign God do anything unpurposedfully? He created the entire universe very systematically in 7 days. Everything…HE…set in perfect order. Beyond human or even angelic comprehension. So why would it be a wonder that he doesn't have a specific purpose for you personally?
How could we ever doubt that? IF we know that how could we ever rest not knowing what that is for us? What rock would we leave unturned? What possession would we not sell to own that? Solomon could have asked for anything in the world but he only asked for wisdom. Outside of Jesus being crucified and redeemed it is the greatest answer ever given by a man.
So name me anything that is more important than knowing God's purpose for you on this earth? Do you have enough faith to ask? " Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye. shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you: 8 For every one that asketh receiveth; and he that seeketh. findeth; and to him that knocketh it shall be opened." Matt 77: 7-8
Do you have enough foresight to wait for it? Or are you too distracted by the noise around you to sit and wait? To seek and to keep on knocking until he gets through to our thick self centered mind that is forever running away or is too busy to hear God's calling and direction.
How can one be the priest and prophet God has called us to be? You know we are all called that. Right? And not be about that foundational question?
Today I pray for you Solomon's solo request. Wisdom. Wisdom to hear from God… That the eyes of your heart would be opened Ephesians 1:18
"Open the eyes of their hearts, and let the light of Your truth flood in. Shine Your light on the hope You are calling them to embrace. Reveal to them the glorious riches You are preparing as their inheritance."
Listen to this prayer. Let the light of HIS truth Flood in… wash out all the garbage…Cascade over every rock and crevice like doubt…unbelief…pride….self etc. And SHINE your lite on the HOPE you are calling them to embrace!. Are you listening? How filled are you with the light of Hope for wisdom and God's purpose for you? Are you embracing that truth and light? or are you still in a closet of darkness and indecision and half-truths and what-ifs…followed by an unending list of excuses and fears? And he is giving all this to you for what purpose? So they might have the scales of their eyes removed for them to see and embrace the glorious riches you are preparing for their/OUR inheritance!
OMG!!! Isn't part of that inheritance knowing who we are IN GOD? For God? Who are we without that? He has given us all a compass to navigate life. It is a compass of light that always points true north and with that truth comes the key to unlocking the person God created and called you to be! When you discover that you will be the most fulfilled of your life. YEAH…this is why God created Dennis Piller! It is His Divine Design…ME. That is why we are all different… But all part of the same body. When we discover God's purpose… we will be complete. And it has nothing to do with what we majored in for College.
Lord help me off this merry go round. I am so tired of being sick and tired. Open the eyes of my heart Lord that I might see me through your eyes.
