God’s Wisdom is in His Word.

“My word becomes alive in your mind and spirit. It reveals my will to you and my direction for you. It opens the door for you to hear my voice. Draw near to me and I will reveal my ways. I hear your prayers but you do not stay long enough to hear my answers, while my wisdom is crying out to you. I told Peter cannot you pray for just one hour? Some of you have mountains of debt and mountains of problems but I have a way for you… a peace for you. I have strength and wisdom for you to overcome the world. It begins in relationship. In my word…In prayer and it manifests my Holy Spirit and my empowerment into the trials and testing’s of your life. I am Abba father. I have called you. You are my children. You are my precious children, run to me. For I have it all. I have everything and more that you are seeking.”

This was a word God gave me a few years back. I feel that He is still telling his children to really know that He wants to speak with you. He wants to be that voice and that confirmation in your daily decisions. God wants you to know he really desires to speak with you but do you pause long enough to listen? (Even if it isn’t what you want to hear). God has given each of you gifts… to be game-changers… are you willing to use them? It will probably be a non-comfort zone.

I know we all love our sweet and cozy comfort zones and we could live entrenched there the rest of our lives. Have you noticed throughout the years this Holy Spirit nudge to not only ditch our comfort zones but to proceed in new uncomfortable ways. And can they produce fear? You bet! But that isn’t the way of his calling. You know you have missed it when you are back on your couch with your feet up. Then regret follows.

I was leaving for vacation and had a very dear friend who was in the hospital again because of cancer. He had beaten lung cancer once but started smoking again. I felt a real nudge to go to the hospital and pray for Ed. But I got so caught up in packing for the vacation, I didn’t make it. I kept trying to call him when I returned to apologize but no answer. Two weeks later I got a call from his daughter that he had passed why I was away. I was devastated. Regret hit me like a train. It still haunts me today for being disobedient. So whether we are too busy or out of our comfort zone, the Holy Spirit nudges us to step out…Pray for people…Be obedient.

Fear is a paralyzer. How do you overcome fear? WE learn what fear actually is so we will recognize it when it comes and we use God’s word to destroy its power.

“I prayed to the LORD, and he answered me. He freed me from all my fears. Those who look to him for help will be radiant with joy; no shadow of shame will darken their faces.” Psalm 34: 4-5 NLT

There is this list of Hall of Famers in Hebrews 11. But they listened to God and moved out of their comfort zone in obedience to God and walked in the power and blessing of our God. “If you cling to your life, you will lose it but if you give up your life for me, you will find it.” Matthew 10:39 NLT

I hope you tarry long enough to listen today and pray with us for one hour.
